This wine is crafted from a blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, 15% Petit Verdot, and 6% Cabernet Franc sourced from select vineyards in and around Stellenbosch.
It displays a deep, intense garnet colour and exudes abundant aromas of ripe black berry fruits, complemented by hints of dried herbs, tobacco spice, and cedar in the background.
On the palate, it offers generous flavours of ripe blackcurrant and dark berry notes, supported by firm yet fine tannins. The mid-palate is rich and full-bodied, leading to a lingering finish of dried Italian herbs, cedar and tobacco leaf. Best served with slow roasted lamb, grilled rib-eye steak with bone marrow or an oxtail stew. The wine also pairs well with hard cheese.
